Your June Astrology with Lahana

Ah, here we are already. . . June. We welcome this month with everyone's favourite, Mercury Retrograde. During this period, beginning on May 29th until June 22nd we can expect surprises, hiccups and things not always being what they seem at first impression.

Rather than running towards that wildfire, this period is about watching for what the Universe brings to you instead. This period may help us discover new information about past situations that slightly shifts our direction and journey.

With Venus, the planet of love and desire also spending most of June in Cancer, we will feel eager to communicate and share our love. We may also feel drawn to connect with old contacts and friends. However, be mindful of how you’re interacting with others during this period as our minds may be moving at a fast pace and overlooking details.

 

 

At the end of the month we have the Full Moon in Capricorn which turns our focus as a collective to finding healthy boundaries and work/life balance and reflecting upon our own legacy. As this is an Earth sign it encourages us to become more grounded and realistic when it comes to our goals and plans. It’s also the time to focus on who we want to be seen as and how we want to spend our time in the world without sacrificing our most authentic self.

This can be as simple as walking barefoot, spending time in nature away from screens, gardening or doing embodiment exercise or meditations. We are all built differently and respond differently, so choose something that feels connected for you.
